Founded in 2000, the Carteret County Public School Foundation is a beacon of educational empowerment, dedicated to fostering excellence within the Carteret Public School System. We believe in the transformative power of education and strive to create opportunities that inspire both educators and students.
Mission
To promote excellence in education by supporting students, educators, schools and education programs.The Carteret County Public School Foundation (CCPSF) is dedicated to fostering educational excellence within Carteret County School System by securing financial support from the community and corporate partners.
Founded in 2000, our mission has been to provide and sustain district-wide opportunities, funding teacher training, emergency assistance, and classroom programs not covered by state funds. Through the generosity of our donors, CCPSF has received and invested over $2.42 million into innovative programs in our schools, in addition to assistance programs for our students and employees.
Annually, we proudly offer 4-year tuition scholarships to deserving seniors from each of our three High Schools, ensuring a future generation of teachers for Carteret County through our Big Rock Teaching Fellows Program.

Purpose
